techno.blog("Dion"): JVM support for AOP in JRockit: "It was nice to read Jonas Boner talk about the session at JavaOne 2005 on AOP in the JVM."
David Caruana's Software Rabbit & Pork: Spring Start - "Where do I Start?" For Developers: "I've bundled the code samples together with all their required dependencies into the following Spring Start Download - a getting started guide / tutorial for the Spring Framework. The whole thing has been tailored for use within the Eclipse IDE and takes almost no setup to get going. You should be able to step through code that uses Spring within minutes." - TIPS

Software Musings: AOP and caching: "I looked around for a few minutes on the spring web site and found a couple of EHCache based method caches, stuck them into my working application, and presto: a the time delay that had been due to database look up was entirely removed. It actually seemed faster than normal javascript. AOP, when used correctly, is a trully beautiful technology."
techno.blog("Dion"): Java Archives: "JavaScript Embedded in Java 6A brief view into the history via this Sun Java 6 announcement, shows us that in the next Java 6 build, we will have Mozilla Rhino baked in... This is pretty huge, and will spark more development in scripting languages, and JavaScript itself. Now there is no barrier to install anything, and you will had JS out of the box. ECMAScript 4 XML is in Rhino. This means that we can leave the DOM (and friends) behind, and can use E4X right away! - PERFECT!
